It can be hard to find full manuals online and not everything will apply to you and your situation, but this list an help you get started.
There are a ton of training theories and types out there. We tend to follow the ones listed here. Note: We don’t condemn or condone the use of E-Collars. However, Captain would never attempt the use of an E-Collar on her own – that would be something she’d leave up to a professional trainer only and would have to be for significant, dangerous issues.
For a lot of people, using a professional organization to receive an already trained, adult dog is the best option. You can also ask any of these organizations if they’d work with you and your dog. Also find state laws and resources here.
